In 2001, Founder Mohibullah Noori's visit to Shughnan, a border town between Afghanistan and Central Asia, sparked the Fajristan idea. Witnessing the hardships of divided families by nationalism and colonialism moved him to tears. Since then, he and his team have passionately advocated for regional cooperation, regional union, open borders, and the free movement of people, ideas, and resources.
The publication of "Fajristan Civilization Region" in January 2007 and "Fajristan Regional Integration Movement" in 2011 further solidified the movement's foundation and vision. Since its conception, the "Fajristan" initiative has aimed to promote regional integration and cooperation in the region. From 2007 -2011 Established "Supporters of Regional Integration in Afghanistan" and launch of the "Fajristan Regional Discourse" platform furthered discussions and engagement.
In June 2007, the founder relocated to India to pursue a master's degree. In 2010, he enrolled in a Ph.D. program at Pune University, with his proposal titled "Towards Greater Central Asia: Exploring the Possibilities of Sustainable Regional Integration." During his studies, he organized a group of regional students at Pune University and launched the Fajristan Regional Discourse, which ultimately led to the establishment of the Global Organization to Support Regional Integration (GOSRI).
In 2011 the idea of Fajristan regional integration movement but we prefer to establish its chapter in each country. We begin establishing, Supporters of Regional Integration in Afghanistan/SRIA
HANIM's dedicated team in Kabul, housed in its established office, has actively pursued its mission of fostering regional understanding. Key to this effort has been the development of a comprehensive regional strategy, launched through weekly meetings for effective implementation. Beyond organizational infrastructure, HANIM has successfully built a network of thousands of young Afghans across the country. This vibrant community serves as a crucial platform for organizing numerous cultural and social activities that promote regional understanding and collaboration. Looking beyond Afghanistan, HANIM has leveraged the connections of Afghan students, refugees and businessmen residing in the region. This has resulted in the formation of active teams in all 10 "Fajristan" countries, comprising hundreds of individuals committed to the vision of regional integration. Additionally, HANIM has initiated 10 regional programs to further solidify connections and collaboration across borders. Several prominent organizations such as the Afghanistan Journalists Union, Full-Razam Federation, RASA TV, Fajristan University, and Radio Takharistan actively collaborate under the HANIM umbrella. Utilizing social media and engaging with Afghan students residing in "Fajristan" countries, HANIM has built connections with individuals and organizations who share its vision.
The founder's service in the Afghan government (2011-2021) provided a valuable platform to advocate for the Fajristan concept and its potential benefits. Participation in international forums like the NATO Defense College course in Rome (2015) further amplified the message of regional integration.
While the HANIM team was organizing thousands of people to launch the Caravan of Regional Integration in border cities, the Taliban offensive began, leading to the collapse of the Afghan government. Following this event, the founder relocated to the United States. In 2022 with participation of a number of regional students the Fajristan Regional Integration Parliament meeting initiated at George Mason University. On November 13, 2023, the Fajristan Regional Integration Movement was registered in the United States.
Passionately believing in fostering an integrated region, we advocate for Regional Integration in Fajristan. Our holistic approach aspires to establish a regional Union with:
Envision Fajristan as a united region thriving in progress, prosperity,
and peace, free from extremism, terrorism, narcotics, and cross-border crimes.
To bring together a network of experts and regional activists who believe in united region and are committed to advocating for regional integration in the Fajristan Region.
